It was a beautiful place for outdoor ceremony, and the lighting in the ballroom was just stunning. One thing that I’d like to mention is that their floweriest  also did my wedding seven years ago and turned out the owner Janet was Sean’s aunt, who always does wonderful job. What a small world! Jenn and Sean are down to earth, and I can’t wait to see them against their cousin’s wedding.

For me, it’s all about family, friends, and fun. Christine had her wedding at the Hillcrest Park, which is a perfect location for outdoor wedding. The beautiful ceremony was under a big oak tree in the park, and the reception was hosted at Hillcrest Terrace. The couple’s wedding was fun to the adults as well as the kids. There was a playground for kids to hang out, run and having fun. It was a beautiful night, and everyone had fun dancing under the full moon.  I had a great time shooting the wedding, too.

Photo shooting the wedding at the Japanese Garden was very meaningful to me because I graduated from CSULB, and one of the design projects that I did was using the garden as a theme. Therefore, I’m very familiar with this place. The ceremony was on the unique and beautiful arched bridge. The challenge was to find the right spot for the right angle to catch the moment, and I think the images turned out great. For the reception, the tables were set up around the Koi pond, and the lighting was beautiful at night. I love this wedding and the stunning Garden :) If you’d like to have a beautiful outdoor wedding, the garden is a good choice.
